55 Allen Plaza Wins Prestigious TOBY Award

23 Feb 2017

55 Allen Plaza has been awarded The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Earth Award from The Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia (BOMA Georgia). Lincoln Property Company (Lincoln) manages the building.

“It’s an honor and very gratifying that BOMA Georgia has now consecutively selected 55 Allen Plaza to receive the TOBY award,” said Shane Froman of Lincoln. “The Lincoln Properties team works hard to provide the best service for our clients and awards like this validate our approach.”

55 Allen Plaza is a LEED Gold-certified, 348,658-square-foot Class-A office building and part of the Allen Plaza mixed-used development. In addition to easy access of the city’s intown markets, the building is surrounded by restaurants, retail, the W-Atlanta Downtown Hotel & Residences, and Centennial Olympic Park.

The TOBY Award recognizes both building quality and management excellence, and is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry. Nominees are evaluated on tenant-relations programs, community involvement, security standards, emergency preparedness, and continuing education for building personnel. Floor plans and site plans are also considered in the judging. In 2013, 55 Allen Plaza was designated as a BOMA 360 Performance Building for high standards in building operations and management.
