CPE: Lincoln Property to Break Ground on Savannah Distribution Center

Lincoln Property Company is set to break ground this month on the Bloomingdale Trade Center, a 482,350-square-foot Class A distribution facility in Savannah, Ga. The development will be the firm’s first ground-up project in the Savannah area and is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2024.

In a statement, Denton Shamburger, a senior vice president at the firm, said that the property’s proximity to the port of Savannah and quick highway access were key motivators for its location. Situated at the intersections of Bloomingdale Road and Jimmy Deloach Parkway, the property is within 6 miles of Hilton Head International Airport, 12 miles of the Port of Savannah and 17 miles from downtown Savannah. Access to Interstates 16 and 95 is within one and 5 miles, respectively.
