Lincoln Employees Lend a Helping Hand to Downtown Atlanta’s Homeless

About 15 employees of Lincoln’s Atlanta office and their family members gave back to the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, by feeding members of the city’s downtown homeless population.
The Lincoln employees and their family members spent the morning preparing and serving a breakfast of bacon, coffee, eggs, grits and hash browns to about 150 homeless men and women. The non-profit Feeding the Homeless Project organized the breakfast and supervised the Lincoln volunteers. Lincoln sponsored the event and paid for the food and beverages.
“Saturday’s breakfast was an immensely rewarding event,” said Tony Bartlett, senior vice president for Lincoln who oversees the Atlanta office. “We’ve sponsored these breakfasts several times in the past as well, and we always come away reminded of the importance of serving others and taking the time to help those in need. Improving our communities is a top priority at Lincoln.”
