Ten employees of Lincoln Property Company Southeast’s Atlanta office gave back to the community on Saturday, Oct. 18, by feeding members of the city’s downtown homeless population.
The Lincoln employees spent the morning preparing and serving a breakfast of sausage, eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy to about 150 homeless men and women. The non-profit Feeding the Homeless Project organized the breakfast and supervised the Lincoln volunteers. Lincoln sponsored the event and paid for the food and beverages.
“Making a difference in the communities in which we live and work is an important part of our philosophy at Lincoln, and Saturday’s breakfast was a small but powerful way reach out and help those in need,” said Tony Bartlett, senior vice president for Lincoln who oversees the Atlanta office. “We have sponsored these breakfasts several times in the past and will continue to do so. Feeding the Homeless does amazing and inspiring work, and we’re proud to help this outstanding organization any time and in any way we can.”
