Lincoln Property Co. Has Secured the Site for the 28-story Tremont Plaza Mixed-Use Tower
Lincoln Property’s related Lincoln Church Street LLC spent $11 million on April 14th to buy the 1.5-acre site that houses the 23,273-square-foot Church Street Ballroom and related parking lot at 225 South Garland Avenue. The property also is adjacent the SunRail commuter rail northbound Church Street Station platform, and future plans include incorporating that into the Tremont Plaza development, pending approvals, according to the Orlando Business Journal.
The project, which represents the first downtown office tower to be built in about a decade, will include 200,000 square feet of Class A office space; a 180-room AC Hotel by Marriott; 10,000 square feet of meeting space; 600 parking spaces and ground-level retail.

Some of the office tenants expected to come to Tremont Plaza include a 7,000-square-foot southeast regional headquarters for project general contractor Austin Commercial LP, as well as local offices for Lincoln Property and project designer Hunton Brady Architects PA.
A future phase of the project, which previously was expected to involve possibly a second tower and conference center, also may bring an indoor SunRail station, similar to Grand Central Station in New York City.
