The Forum at West Paces, an office building managed by Lincoln Property Company located in the Buckhead submarket of Atlanta, has earned the federal Energy Star rating.
The Energy Star program recognizes efficient use of energy and is awarded to those owners and managers who show dedication to using the most energy efficient equipment, fixtures and smart use of power.
“We applied for and received certification for The Forum, which affirms our commitment to operating an energy efficient property,” said Lincoln’s Michelle Vaughn.
Energy Star certification means that The Forum at West Paces is among the top 25 percent of similar buildings nationally in smart use of energy. Energy Star buildings cost on average 50-cents less per square foot to operate, according to the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy, which developed the Energy Star program 20 years ago.
