Lincoln Property Company Southeast Awarded Leasing Assignment at The Edison Chastain
Lincoln Property Company Southeast has been awarded the leasing assignment for The Edison Chastain, a three-story, Class A office building in Kennesaw, Georgia, that is under construction and scheduled to deliver Spring 2020. Michael Howell, Hunter Henritze and Caroline Fisher of Lincoln will handle leasing for The Edison Chastain.
The Edison Chastain will offer 152,612 square feet of rentable office space with efficient 25,000-square-foot bi-wing standard floorplates. The design of the building will feature 14+-foot ceilings with large windows creating an abundance of natural light. The main lobby will include a coffee bar and grab-and-go food service. The Edison Chastain will also feature an above standard parking ratio of 5.25 spaces per 1,000 rentable square feet. The building will sit adjacent to a 2.5-acre park that will be open to the public near the Noonday Creek Trail and Trailhead, a seven-mile trail that provides a scenic and natural connector between Bells Ferry Road and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield.
“We are excited to be associated with this development which will differentiate itself from any other office building in the Kennesaw market,” said Lincoln’s Howell. “The Edison Chastain will provide a modern workplace setting, and a wide range of amenities nearby, providing its tenants with an abundance of dining, shopping and entertainment options. We are certain this development will be highly anticipated.”
The Edison Chastain offers immediate access to I-75 and I-575, and is located just six miles from the heart of Marietta, 12 miles from SunTrust Park and three miles from Cobb County International Airport. Town Center at Cobb, Kennesaw Marketplace, Cobb Place and Barrett Commons Shopping Center offer ample amenities nearby. The tenants of The Edison Chastain will also have access to The Town Center Park. Currently under construction, this park will deliver a beautiful 42-acre nature venue to the area, consisting of three smaller parks and parking area adjacent to the Town Center at Cobb.
