Lincoln Property Company Southeast Releases New Photos of Renovations at 1372 Peachtree

08 Mar 2018

Lincoln Property Company Southeast has released images showing the extensive transformation of 1372 Peachtree, the Midtown office building leased by WeWork.

The photographs demonstrate how the building, which was vacant for over a decade, has been transformed into a modern, distinctive new landmark for the northern end of Midtown. With a landlord and tenant work investment exceeding $11 million, the building underwent major renovations. This includes more than $4 million in cosmetic and building systems upgrades, including a new front façade, a new roof, installation of a new outdoor plaza, new window systems, new electrical and mechanical systems and the addition of a new exterior stairwell, among other improvements.

With the completion of these renovations, 1372 Peachtree will now serve as the WeWork headquarters for the entire Southeast. WeWork, the coworking office space provider based in New York, has three additional locations in Atlanta.

“These renovations have transformed 1372 Peachtree from a tired, 1970s-era relic to a creative, state-of-the-art facility worthy of Atlanta’s top startups and innovators,” said Lincoln’s Howell. “The Midtown market continues to grow and change, creating new opportunities for both entrepreneurs and corporations looking to be near the talented students, teachers and innovators at Georgia Tech along with the 24/7 live, work, play atmosphere that, within Atlanta, can only be found in Midtown. It’s only fitting that WeWork chose this location for its newest headquarters.”
