LPC of Central Florida Volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank

This week the Orlando Lincoln Property Company office headed over to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to contribute their time during this busy holiday season. The Second Harvest Food Bank is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties. During their visit, Lincoln packed “kid packs” of food for children in the area. These packs are given to children from local schools so they can be properly nourished over the weekend. After a record speed of finishing these packs, Lincoln moved on to sorting donations from local can food drives that were donated to Second Harvest. In addition to feeding neighbors in local communities, the food bank transforms dozens of lives every year with a 14-week culinary training program. The culinary program is funded by their catering services with all proceeds going back into the program. LPC couldn’t leave without having some of their delicious lunch and donating to the program! Second Harvest Food Bank welcomed everyone with open arms and such gratitude that made all the volunteers so excited to be working with them. It was truly an incredible experience!
