LPC Southeast Awarded Management Assignments for Two Metro Atlanta Mixed-Use Developments
Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has been selected to manage the retail and office components for two new mixed-use developments north of Atlanta, totaling over 62,000 square feet of space. Senior Portfolio Manager and Retail Lead John Grozine will oversee the assignment on behalf of the owners.
The Maxwell, owned by Mayfair Street Partners, is a mixed-use development comprising 40,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space and 138 luxury residential units. The lifestyle center is located in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, Georgia at Main Street and Devore Road. The development features a variety of rooftop decks and outdoor spaces for visitors to relax, and also enjoy the development’s open container policy.
Ariston is Buford, Georgia’s next major mixed-use community. Once complete, the pedestrian-friendly district will include a 285-unit apartment complex, a 110-key hotel, 22,600 square feet of retail space and several green spaces and gathering areas. Ariston will also serve as the new trailhead for Ivy Creek Greenway, a 3.6-mile-long trail that runs through a wooded nature preserve along the Ivy Creek.
“While migration from major urban hubs to suburban communities is not a new phenomenon, we have seen this trend accelerate over the past year, resulting in greater need for more experiential and service-oriented retail destinations in cities like Alpharetta and Buford,” said Lincoln’s Senior Vice President of Management Services Shane Froman. “As we prioritize the expansion of our retail management portfolio across metro Atlanta, we are looking forward to working alongside both of these owners to create vibrant and well-connected live-work-play communities.”
Lincoln currently leads leasing and management efforts for nearly 22.7 million square feet of commercial property located throughout the Southeast. With over 50 years in the industry, Lincoln works with each client to tailor a comprehensive management plan that fits short- and long-term goals. The Atlanta property management team at Lincoln has grown its portfolio of managed retail, office and industrial properties in Georgia by 3.6 million square feet since the start of 2021.
