LPC Taps SRS Real Estate Partners to Lease Retail at Echo Street West

26 Jan 2021

Lincoln Property Company, the international real estate firm leading the mixed-use development of Echo Street West on Atlanta’s Westside, today announces SRS Real Estate Partners has been selected to lead the retail leasing efforts for the 19-acre development.

Led by Senior Vice Presidents Adrienne Crawford and Lily Heimburger, SRS is now leasing 50,000 square feet of retail space facing the recently opened Atlanta BeltLine Westside Connector Trail. Set to deliver in late 2022, the retail at Echo Street West was specifically designed to create a unique gathering place for the existing Westside neighborhood, for new residents and tenants, and to provide a unique destination for pedestrians walking from Downtown to the new Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry.

“At Echo Street West, we look forward to working with retailers that want to be a part of the growing BeltLine experience and to contribute to the historic Westside community,” said Lily Heimburger of SRS. “While this is on the Beltline we don’t want it to simply be a carbon copy of other trail oriented developments. We want it to be unique to the Westside. We are curating a high energy tenant mix that will complement the live-work environment being created and bring new business and new opportunities to a community that has long been underserved.”

Crawford and Heimburger bring a combined 30 years of industry expertise, including work at high-profile, in-town properties such as Krog Street Market, Stoveworks, SPX Alley, the Collective at Coda Tech Square, Modera Reynoldstown, and Midtown Promenade.

In addition to BeltLine connectivity, the unique retail opportunities at Echo Street West are located within walking distance to upcoming activations at the property set to open this year, including: the 16,000-square-foot Guardian Studios artist and makerspace, the 20,000-square-foot Guardian Works event space, and a new open-air bar and dining experience all set to deliver in Spring 2021.

“We are focused on developing an urban district that will benefit both the existing neighborhood and future generations, especially as this area continues to grow with Georgia Tech, Microsoft and now Apple all investing heavily in the surrounding neighborhood,” said Tony Bartlett, executive vice president at Lincoln Property Company. “Partnering with an accomplished leasing team like SRS is a critical step in creating a destination reflective of the unique village we are developing.”

When complete, Echo Street West will span 2.4 million square feet of mixed-use space. The first phase encompasses 300,000 square feet of creative office, 50,000 square feet of retail, 3.4 acres of outdoor entertainment and gathering areas and 300 multifamily units.
