Q2 2021 Atlanta Industrial Market Report

Atlanta’s industrial market added over 7.7 million square feet of absorption this quarter following a market record 11.2 million square feet of absorption in Q1. The vacancy rate fell for a sixth consecutive quarter, falling 60 basis points (0.6%) to 5.0%. This is the lowest vacancy rate in the Atlanta market in at least 20 years, and is showing no signs of stopping there. Rental rates rose 1.9% in Q2 to $4.69 from the Q1 mark of $4.59.
