Q1 2023 Northeast Office Submarket Report

Northeast Atlanta suffered from a handful of midsize move outs this quarter that sank absorption to negative 221,342 square feet in Q1. The most notable of these move outs include Ansco & Associates (-41,579 sf). Altisource (-28,162 sf), and Teradata (-25,771 sf). On the other hand, the largest occupancy belongs to Carter & Clark (21,386 sf) at Huntcrest III. As a consequence of these move outs, vacancy rose by 120 basis points to 15.4%. The largest rise in vacancy occurred in Class A space which saw an uptick of 170 basis-points to 23.3% this quarter.
