Q2 2022 Northeast Atlanta Industrial Submarket Report

Atlanta’s largest industrial submarket continues its strong momentum, seeing positive absorption of 2,534,366 square feet in Q2. This brings Northeast Atlanta’s 12-month total to positive absorption of over 9.8 million square feet. This is the highest absorption figure for any submarket over that period across the Atlanta market. Northeast Atlanta also leads the market in total space under construction, with over 16.6 million square feet underway as of Q2. 8 buildings totaling 2,714,573 square feet broke down in Q2, while 7 more delivered. The submarket’s vacancy rate continued to drop, falling 40 basis points (0.4%) to 2.8%.
