Q2 2023 Metro Atlanta Office Report

Metro Atlanta recorded negative 1,754,330 square feet in absorption this quarter bringing the year-to-date total to negative 1,924,470 square feet. As a consequence of this negative absorption, vacancy\ rose by 90 basis points to a rate of 21.0%. To exacerbate problems further, sublease availability has continued to climb to an all time high of 4.4% after roughly 876,349 square feet of sublease space was added this quarter.
