Q4 2021 Atlanta Industrial Market Report

Atlanta absorbed over 14.6 million square feet of space in Q4, the most ever on record for a single quarter. This brought the year-to-date total to 39.5 million square feet of positive absorption, also a market record. The overall vacancy rate fell for a seventh consecutive quarter, falling 50 basis points (0.5%) to 3.5%. Rental rates rose 2.5% to $4.92 in Q4, and are up 9.8% over the past year.
