Touring the Transformation of 309 East Paces Ferry
Lincoln Property Company’s management team recently toured the former Aaron’s headquarters building at 309 East Paces Ferry to witness first-hand the transformation taking place.
What was an old, beige office building is being renovated into 78,600 square feet of creative loft office space above another 17,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. LPC Southeast has been tasked with leasing the space, with Hunter Henritze and Michael Howell taking the lead.
The building, to be called “The 309”, has been the headquarters of Aaron’s, Inc., since founder Charlie Loudermilk bought it over four decades ago for $1 million. Today, the property is owned by a group of investors that includes Charlie’s son, Robin.
Renovations include a new brick exterior, exposed ceilings, natural light, and a waffle-like pattern of concrete beams that will stretch across each floor of the building.
