Veeam Software Expands Footprint at NorthWinds Center in Alpharetta
Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has negotiated a 90,000-square-foot long-term lease extension / expansion for Veeam Software at NorthWinds Office Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. Hunter Henritze, Michael Howell and Caroline Fisher of Lincoln represented the landlord.
Veeam, a global leader in intelligent data management solutions, currently occupies space at NorthWinds II. The information technology company develops backup, disaster recovery and intelligent data management software for virtual, physical and multi-cloud infrastructures. With this expansion, Veeam will relocate to NorthWinds VII and occupy a total of 90,000 square feet.
“NorthWinds Office Park provides over 1,000,000 RSF of commonly owned, Class A office space that can accommodate the specific space and equipment needs of tenants in fast-growing industries,” said Lincoln’s Henritze. “Veeam is the perfect testament to this, having expanded from 2,500 square feet to 90,000 square feet since it relocated to the office park many years ago.”
NorthWinds Office Park recently earned Wired Certification as one of Atlanta’s ‘best connected buildings.’ Wired Certification is the nation’s preeminent program that rates and recognizes the infrastructure, connectivity and readiness of office buildings to adopt future technology for tenants.
“Building owners and managers must provide workspaces that not only meet the physical needs of tenants, but also the ever-evolving digital needs of Atlanta’s rapidly growing companies,” Henritze added. “NorthWinds Office Park is rising to that challenge with its Wired Certification, offering tenants, like Veeam, the technology and telecommunications infrastructure needed to ensure teams never lose a minute of productivity.”
NorthWinds Office Park, a 258-acre mixed-use development, is master-planned and zoned for 4,000,000 square feet of Class A office space, 500,000 square feet of retail space, 600 hotel rooms, and 800 apartment homes. The development features a comprehensive package of amenities with two hotels, four banks, nine restaurants, two complimentary fitness facilities, a daycare and learning facility and six free conference and training facilities. In mid-2019, a creative food hall, The Daily, curated by one of the creators of Atlanta’s well-known Krog Street Market is slated to open on NorthWinds’ campus.
